With its newly-remodeled spa and suites, the elegance of the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino has recently become more refined. M.J. Dean of Las Vegas recently completed four months of construction on the 3 million upgrade of The Spa at Monte Carlo. Designed by PreEtta, its cozy and intimate atmosphere is the result of furnishings that were selected from across the globe. Stone from India, marble from China, porcelain from Italy, ceramics from Indonesia and granite from Saudi Arabia enhance the tasteful muted colors and subtle lighting selected for the upgrade.
The treatment area went from 9,123 square feet to 12,650 square feet. The gym was expanded by 1,000 square feet making the room approximately 3,000 square feet in size. In addition to more space, new state-of-the-art exercise equipment and free weights have been added to the workout facility. As a result, The Spa at Monte Carlo now carries the distinction of being an "Official Reebok Facility."
"The Spa at Monte Carlo features cozy elegance and personalized service that embraces our guest from the moment they discover the facility," said Alan Espina, manager of The Spa at Monte Carlo. A variety of massages, facials, body scrubs, body wraps and heliotherapy are available to guests and are designed for maximum results. Hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The engineering department recently finished upgrading the existing Monaco suites. The refurbishing consisted of adding a two-person Jacuzzi to many of the suites. The Jacuzzis position within the room allows guests a sweeping view of the Strip or mountains while they enjoy relaxing jets. Other added amenities include a wet bar, an extended marble entrance, upgraded carpeting, king beds with deluxe mattresses, new art, additional closet space, a glass-enclosed steam/shower room, remote control lighting and window coverings as well as a special armoire featuring a complete music and video system.
